When is an event porta potty delivered and picked up?
An event porta potty is delivered the day before your event and picked up the next business day. A Saturday party gets a Friday drop-off and a Monday pickup. The extra days cost nothing, and the unit is in place before your first guest arrives.

Which events in Lincoln need porta potties most?
In Lincoln, porta potty demand peaks for graduation open houses in May and June, summer birthday parties and family reunions, church picnics and fall festivals. Saturdays with home football games and the Lancaster County Super Fair in August also fill fast, so book those dates 1 to 2 weeks ahead.
- Graduation open houses: 1 standard or deluxe unit plus a hand-washing station covers most open houses of 75 to 100 guests.
- Church and school events: add 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for public events.
- Events in Lincoln parks: the parks department may require a permit and a set unit count. Confirm before booking, and see the Lincoln permit guide.
- Block parties: units in the street need a right-of-way permit from Lincoln Transportation and Utilities.

Party porta potty questions
How much does it cost to rent a porta potty for a party in Lincoln?
A standard porta potty for a party in Lincoln usually runs $165 to $225 for 1 to 5 days, with delivery and pickup inside Lincoln included. Deluxe flushing units usually run $265 to $350.
Can I rent a porta potty for just one day?
A one-day party is the most common rental. It is billed as one flat event price for 1 to 5 days, so a Friday drop and Monday pickup costs the same as one day.
Is one porta potty enough for 50 people?
One standard porta potty is enough for 50 guests at a party of up to 4 hours. For a longer party or when alcohol is served, rent 2.
Can the porta potty go in my backyard?
A porta potty can go in your backyard if the gate is at least 48 inches wide and the truck can park within about 25 feet. Otherwise, the driveway or side yard is the best spot.
Do you lock the porta potty overnight?
A free hasp lock is available for porta potties left in parks or open areas overnight. Leave it unlocked on pickup day.
